How Home Automation Can Save You Money and Keep Your Home Safe
Home automation is becoming more popular. That’s because you can use this technology to add convenience to your Nags Head, North Carolina, home and improve its energy efficiency. From automatically turning lights on and off to controlling your smart thermostat, these devices will help keep your home safe and save you money on energy bills.
What’s Home Automation?
Home automation allows you to control your lights, security devices, windows, doors, smart thermostat and HVAC system remotely. You can find it in smart televisions, speakers, refrigerators, showers, and other modern appliances that you can also access remotely or from anywhere inside your home.
What’s Nexia Home Intelligence?
Nexia Home Intelligence is a device that acts as a control center to smart home devices and appliances. Once you download the Nexia app to your smartphone, tablet or computer, you can control your smart thermostat, HVAC system and other smart devices remotely. Being able to access your thermostat when you’re away can help you save energy and money. Having remote access to your security cameras helps to ensure that your home is safe. Nexia can automatically open and close doors and window blinds as well as adjust lights and security cameras.
What’s a Trane Connected Thermostat?
The Trane XL624 control system works with Nexia Home Intelligence. It allows you to remotely adjust the temperature as needed. The Trane thermostat has sensors that constantly monitor the temperature and humidity. As a result, it can make adjustments to the compressor and fan speeds to optimize the comfort level in your home. Trane thermostats also send you energy reports so you can see which rooms use more or less energy.
If you have rooms that are hotter or colder than others, consider having your home zoned to eliminate the issue. Home zoning works well with Trane thermostats and Nexia Home Intelligence.
